The main topic of this post also brings to the conversation the many options we have in Berlin to indulge ourselves. In the previous chapter, it was all about sex in Berlin, but if you are as passionate about life as I am, there is more than sex to feed your starving soul. We cater for fine dining and luxury hotels, cocktails and wine pairing are our love language, in a world that falls for the culture of impatience and instant gratification we are here standing up for the well-made things that last over time. Meaningful friendships, old whiskey, cashmere and silk, quality over quantity… Are we in the same boat? 

 

• Restaurants  

 

It is widely known that good conversation has the inclination to flourish around the table, especially when trying new dishes with the right companion. As I mentioned in my introduction travelling through the paladar is a passion of mine, in addition to seducing you over the table.  

 

Here is a selection, in no specific order, of my favourite restaurants in Berlin - some of them with a Michelin star.  

 

-Cookies Show - Yes, I know… I also honestly thought this place was a café, but the truth is, it is an amazing vegan restaurant.  

-Long March Canteen – Something for dumplings lovers, this also includes me.  

- Bocca di Bacco - Their slogan says all that is meant to be said: “L’ambasciata del buon gusto” as well as “Ravioli di ricotta con tartar di gamberi”.  

-893 Ryotei - Sushi aficionados stand up! Tai Yuzy Truffle is the way to my heart.  

-Krupfalz Weinstuben - Let’s cheer in a German tavern.  

-La Caleta - I don’t usually go to traditional Spanish places outside Spain, but this place deserves a visit.  

 

 

• Bars 

 

Somewhere I read that life is about getting drunk in beautiful cities. I’m not a big fan of getting drunk and I also wouldn’t say I’m a heavy drinker. I’m more into getting tipsy and closer to you, to make eye contact and cheeky smiles. I would rephrase that sentence to: “Life is about getting tipsy in beautiful cities, in good company”.  

-Green Door - What’s the secret you’re keeping? You don’t have to tell me, maybe we can share a new one.  

-Becketts Kopf - Cocktails are a social lubricant.  

-The Curtain Club at the Ritz Carlton Hotel - Luxury hotels + cocktails are my aphrodisiacs of preference.  

- 9 Roses at the Amano Hotel - I just gave you the answer.  

 

• Hotels  

 

We all agree on the fact that hotels are the best scenario for a date, the anonymity and the crispy white bedding are the best elements to create the perfect vibe to abandon ourselves to passion. Not to forget the hotel bar, they were made to meet lovers.  

 

-Provocateur Berlin: a chic bordelle aestethic, some rooms have a hot tub in the room.  

-Schloss Hotel Berlin: for an opulent Versailles vibes night. I also have the perfect lingerie for this occasion.  

-Hotel Amano: cocktails + hotel = perfect date 

-Gorki Apartment: let’s host a 3some here.  

-Eurostars Berlin: smokers room available for a cigarette after sex, although I’m not a smoker but I don’t mind if you are.  

- Hotel Zoo: this could be the Berlin version of the Chelsea Hotel in New York.  

-BDSM Loft: Let me take the lead.
